Day 56

Family Fun Night! Jeremy Sr. decided it would be good to start a special family night every week which just melted my heart. What a sweet guy. Today we chose to spend our night bowling and guess who won.....Mommy! I was so happy to show baby I am not a complete wimp, even if I only did beat Daddy by 3 points.

Day 53

Not a big day for us today. Typical day of changing diapers, putting  baby to sleep, playing baby games, nursing, and Grey's Anatomy (what we watch while we nurse). We also ran the errand of the day which today happened to be picking up little man's rocking chair. Same routine everyday....very mundane....rather uneventful, yet despite its lack of grand excitement, this day like all others has been a blessing and a beautiful day spent with my little baby and I would not trade it for the world.
I must go now, baby pooped through his onesie, right in my other hand.
Awww....beautiful moments.

Picture: Baby Jeremy ready for our errand...looking like an elf as he sometimes does when his ears get bent in his carseat.

Day 52

Do the Puyallup! If you lived ine Washington, you would know that the little phrase is really a little jingle encouraging Washingtonians from all to go over to what is advertised as one of the largest fairs in the world. Now, I am not quite convinced of the validity of this claim but I can tell you that doing the Puyallup has been one thing I truly enjoy about this place and will miss when we leave.
This year was especially great and special because we got to take the little muffin man. Though he has no clue what the fair is or what we did, I had a ton of fun (and not because we got to indulge in fatty foods)
Truth be told the fair was actually  much more of a hassle this year...packing for a days worth of baby needs for a couple of hours because this guy is so unpredictable, maneuvering thru a giant crowd with the world's bulkiest stroller, stopping every so often to try to soothe a baby with a paci we all know he doesn't really like (just give it up all ready mommy),and being told we were ridiculous for trying to take our baby on the carousel for baby's first ride (well they said it a lot nicer but I saw the look in their eyes) to name a few
Nevertheless this day will be treasured in my heart forever because it was our first special outing as a family, just us (minus the mash and boogs, our furry babies) and for the first time we were parents taking our son out to give him a special time. Yes I know he is a baby and really the fun was for us but it is an amazing feeling to take your child out and be together as a family. I cannot wait until he actually gets to experience it too.

On a side note, I am now absolutely terrified of EMF waves. I really have no idea what they are or what they cause but from what I got from the little booth at the fair, they are absolutely horrible and they live in my cell phone. So now I have to find some other time to check my facebook because if I do it while nursing, I can cause potential harm to my baby. That or I can buy this tiny hologram and be safe. Well thanks to my husband, I now have to schedule facebook time into my day. If only I could have gotten that hologram!

Day 50

Baby went to his first birthday party for a friend, Taylor! He did really well and didn't throw a fit and everyone kept telling him how much he looks like Daddy. I don't see it as much, but I guess I see a husband and a son.
Today was also our first time at church just us. Baby did awesome as we sang. I remember when we used to sing together when he was in my tummy and just being so grateful to God that He had given us this blessing of pregnancy. It is so great that we finally get to sing and praise God together.

7 weeks!

Baby is 7 weeks old today! Pregnancy is becoming a distant memory and this new life with baby is the best ever.  Still I admit I sometimes  miss being pregnant, carrying my baby everywhere with me and most of all knowing he was fed, warm, and safe

There is so much more damage I can do to him out here if I make a mistake. Motherhood is definitely the hardest thing I have ever done. But watching this little guy grow and change makes it so rewarding.

Baby Jeremy is now 10.12 lbs
Eating 3-5 ounces every 3 hours
Babbling when you talk to him
Kicking his feet like crazy
What me and Jeremy call foaming at the mouth. Its crazy how his drool forms bubbles
Still not spitting up :)
Looking at books when we read
Watching Mashy and Baloo
Turned into Mr cuddle bug
Looking oh so precious!

Day 48-The Reunion

Today was a special day for Baby Jr. Today he finally got to meet the babies he had spent the last nine months visiting with during our monthly centering visits at the OB/GYN. I am so happy we went this route for our prenatal care. It has been such a fun experience. And what better way to end our journey with a birthday party for such sweet babies!
Jeremy won a  prize that mommy won for making the best guesses at the first checkup about the future  birth. I cant believe we finally made it to this day. I dreamed of it for so long. Praise God! We did it! Baby Jeremy is here!

Day 47

Little guy having some tummy time. He did well today, almost ten minutes. Then we played some more in his jungle gym. He loves kicking and its so fun to watch him smile as we play!

In other news, I am miserable suffering from PUPPP, which is basically a horrible itchy rash that spreads everywhere on your body :( and makes you look awful. But silver lining is it not harmful or contagious and nothing will happen to baby. I will have to say it is the worst thing about this pregnancy, right up there with labor pains. I never thought an itch would be so miserable. Oh yeah and there is no real medicine, just got to ride it out with some creams and benadryl that I refuse to take because I am nursing.
But look at this guy...he is so worth everything.
