I wanna be like Mike.....kind of

I remember those commercials a long time ago that were about Michael Jordan and they had that little song...I wanna be like Mike.

Well baby Jeremy sure doesn't remember those but he does seem to want to be like someone special when he grows up....daddy. The more and more I get to spend time with him, the more and more I am convinced that we picked the perfect name for him. He indeed is a little Jr. From his outgoing personality, his love of adventure, his charm, his silliness, and his great big hugs, he is daddy all the way. Combine that with his mommy side and this kid is a winner. I love this kid so much!

Today was baby Jeremy's first St. Patrick's Day! I was so excited since I had bought him a super cute little green suit and wanted to take him out to show him off but it was raining. And when it rains in San Diego, the world comes to a halt and you do nothing but stay inside all day :( Who would-a thought we just got back from Washington just a bit ago. 

Well at least mommy got some lesson planning done today....well kinda. I am way in over my head over here on this one. Oh yeah, since my last entry, I have become a long term sub for the 4th grade! And as much as I was afraid and disliked teaching before, this time I went in with a positive attitude and things seem to be going well. Its a lot of work and the kids keep me busy but I love them already. Here is to a good rest of the year! Wish me luck little leprechaun ;)
