The Truck

We got a new truck! A brand new white 2009 Ford F-150. It's pretty cool and I am really happy about it except for the fact that we had to trade in my Sunny (the Nissan Sentra), which we had recently paid off.

Having the truck is cool even though it is taking some getting used to. Parking is pretty hard for me as is getting in. I have to jump up just to get in and Baloo is too small to jump in, so I have to lift him up, which is getting pretty hard since he weighs about 50 pounds now.

I do feel safer in the truck though. Jeremy is really happy which is great and Baloo loves it because he gets to ride with both of us in the front. We are all liking the truck very much.....we just hope gas never goes up to the way it did this last summer. Hopefully we get a chance to visit soon and you all can see it.

Hace como un mes, vendimos nuestros dos carros (el VW Rabbit y el Nissan Sentra) por un Ford F-150. Aunque me esta gustando mucho estrenarlo, extrano mucho a mi Nissan. Fue el primer carro por cual trabaje y apenas lo habiamos terminando de pagar hace unos meses :(

Pero no voy a pensar en lo negativo, en vez voy a darle gracias a Dios que pudimos comprar la camioneta y que me estoy acostumbrando a ella. Poco a poco voy aprendiendo como estacionarlo y ya aprendi como subir me a el sin hacer mucho esfuerzo. Espero que Baloo aprenda lo mismo, sinedo que ya pesa como 50 libras y se me esta haciendo mas dificil subirlo al troque. :o)

Lo que mas me gusta de tener el F-150 es que me siento muy segura en el. Dicen que llueve mucho en Washington y espero que el troque nos mantenga mas seguros alla. Jeremy y Baloo tambien estan muy contentos dado que ya hace tiempo que Jeremy queria un troque y Baloo puede estar sentado junto a los dos. Espero que pronto lo podamos llevar a casa y que se los pueda ensenar.
